Our story
In 2019, a LinkedIn message from a stranger introduced me to Emmanuel, a determined young man who, after graduating high school in 2015, spent four years working to fund his education. He eventually enrolled in university to study computer science, but financial hardship threatened to end his dream.
Drawing on my own experience as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Ashesi University, I mentored Emmanuel through scholarship applications, and he won the Dreamhive Tuition Scholarship. His success revealed a bigger truth: thousands of talented students from low-income communities face similar barriers, with less than 9% completing higher education in Ghana.
That’s why we founded myScholarsHUB, to bridge this gap. We connect brilliant but underserved students with scholarships, mentorship, and career guidance, empowering them to pursue higher education and transform their communities. Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. We’re here to change that.
